This "Concept" SINGLE was realised as a result of a conversation I had with Jimmy Michaels,
where we discussed the minimal time needed to produce contemporary house-trance record.
In his case he composed a trance piece in 15 minutes and spent further 45 minutes to mix and master.
I gave myself 3 hours of studio time, 1 hour composing and sampling, 1 hour of mixing and 1 hour of mastering,
although I think I used a lot less that.
All typical production methods used in instrument production were used, however there was only one instrument.
This concept "piss-take" proves easy it actually is to produce contemporary "fake" electronic music
incomparable in any way to real music made using real instruments.
I even managed to create 2 versions, one original German (which sounded funny and just what was needed for the B-side, and one silghtly
extended English for A-Side of the concept pseudo-vinyl 12" single.
It took me this long, in comparison to Jimmy's 15 minutes, since I actually gave it some though and turned out this Italo-Trance that
at the end doesn't sound that cheap at all.I even added a bullshit sentimental melodramatic string arrangement scored Moby style to deepen the soulful side of it.
The crap vocals are used as a rhythmic instrument in themselves, with a repetitive line to blow your mind away....
In comparison to 3 Hour trance crap a typical, say Gamble and Huff, Philly production of one track would take weeks.

Dick Bakker is a Dutch conductor, sound technician and musician. He was born in Blaricum in the year 1947. He co-wrote the Dutch eurovision song contest winner Ding-A-Dong from Teach In (1975). After that he worked as a conductor for British studio orchestra’s. He also wrote 2 more Dutch eurovision songs which didn’t nearly had the succes of earlier mentioned Teach In song. The music arrangments for Amsterdam (Maggie Macneal 1980) and Ik Hou Van Jou (Maribelle 1984) are also his work.

I got into it and 20 minutes passed away in a second.

Pied Piper - Disco EX Machina (LIVESET Regrooved)
This is a solid regrooved, acidised and contemporarised set played at a private party, which I don't usually do, to people wishing to remain anonymous, basically crowd linked to music industry, nothing big or spectacular to tell you the truth.
The pay was good, 4 figures for 2 hour set, they had 2 more DJ's, so how could I refuse it, all played by sponsors so money was not an issue, neither was the booze, some 30 types of food and probably a shitload of illicit substances.
I showed a number of playlists and the organisiers picked this one up, the only requirement was that it sounds fresh and hard and all be steady 128 BPM, this one was progrmed @ 130.
